Hello!

My name is Samantha, and I am the founder of Minnesota's Pigeon Haven! I have been a lover of pigeons for as long as I can remember, but that love really grew when I rescued and rehabilitated my first pigeon when I was 15 years old. I instantly became a huge advocate for these birds.

Many years later, I brought home a pigeon that completely changed my life. JamJar, a purple pigeon who inspired all of this.

I started MPH to be that safe, special place in Minnesota for pigeons and to inspire others to come to learn and love pigeons too!

I have worked in animal care for over 10 years with many species of exotics. I am an artist, coffee freak, nature enthusiast and proud Minnesotan. All my experiences have led me here and I can't wait to continue sharing the wonderful world of pigeons with everyone. Thanks for checking out my rescue!
